High Standards
Logicalis' US operations were formed by the mergers of three independent and complementary solutions provider organizations: Bloomfield Computing Systems in 1998, Alltech in 1999 and Puget Sound Systems Group in 2000.
Since the original acquisitions in the US, Logicalis, Inc. has grown organically from approximately $200 million in revenue to over $550 million in annualized revenue with global revenue of $900 million. Acquisition also continues to be an integral part of the Logicalis growth strategy. In 2004, to strengthen its portfolio of IBM products, services, and certifications, Logicalis acquired STI (Solution Technology Inc.), one of IBM’s top ten business partners. In February 2005 Logicalis acquired IBM business partner Eisco Technology, and, in November 2005, the $100-million, U.S. based HP enterprise end-user business from Avnet Partner Solutions (NYSE:AVT). Logicalis acquired Alliance Consulting’s Southwest Division in May 2006 and IBM Business Partner Computech Resources, Inc. in September 2006. Most recently Logicalis acquired the Information Technology Division of Carotek in June 2007.
Logicalis is itself an integral part of the U.K.-based Logicalis Group, a division of Datatec Ltd, a $3.2-billion international networking and IT services company listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange (JSE: DTC).
